Eugene Zhang is the General Partner and founding member of TEEC Angel Fund (TAF). In 2010, Eugene co-founded TAF, a Silicon Valley based super angel fund. TAF is operated by a team with strong operating and entrepreneurial experience who has either served as a CEO or an executive in Silicon Valley or China. The fund differentiates with its core elite network of Tsinghua Entrepreneur & Executive Club (TEEC) with over 400 members to help its portfolio companies. For the past 5 years, TAF had 6 successful exits and 7 centaurs, meaning a company with valuation over 100 million USD. TAF portfolio companies have raised over 450M total funding. Eugene’s investment areas include hard-core technologies, software and Fintech.

Prior to TAF, Eugene was the founder and CEO of InnoSpring, the first global cross boarder technology startup incubator in Silicon Valley. In 2002, he founded JEDA Technologies, Inc. and served as the president and CEO. Eugene has more than 13 years of experience in network and computer industries and has previously worked with Juniper Networks, Cisco Systems, and Sun Microsystems. Eugene is among the early founding members of TEEC and was a board member of TEEC.
